LoAnn Jundt is the Executive Director of Argonauta Educational Programs Inc., the nonprofit corporation which operates Maria Montessori Schools of San Diego for children ages 3-15, and the Montessori Center for Teacher Education. Ms.Jundt has taught all ages from preschool through college graduates. She received her Montessori Credential for 2-7 in London, England in 1965 through the International Association of Progressive Montessorians (IAPM). Ms. Jundt attended the Advanced Montessori Training Course in Bergamo, Italy in 1980 and holds the Montessori Credential for Elementary ages 6-12 from the Association Montessori International (AMI).
Montessori Center for Teacher Education courses are conducted in the fully equipped classrooms of Montessori School House and Maria Montessori Elementary, the Maria Montessori schools located at 4544 Pocahontas Avenue, San Diego, California 92117.
Montessori Center for Teacher Education is sponsored by Argonauta Educational Programs, Inc., a nonprofit educational corporation created to establish Montessori schools for children, to offer teacher education programs for adults, to conduct parent study groups, and to provide qualified lecturers on Montessori Education.
Montessori Center for Teacher Education Courses are accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) to 2014. The Early Childhood and the Elementary Teacher Education Courses, 6-9 and 6-12, are affiliated with the American Montessori Society (AMS).

To satisfy "California Ability to Benefit" requirements, if the student does not have a college degree, a qualifying test must be taken before the first day of the academic component. This test does not cover any subject areas but rather screens for possession of minimum language, logic, and number skills.
